About

The NIMS Summer School brings together participants from across Africa for lectures, labs, and collaborative mini-projects. Expect a full-time schedule with mentoring from NIMS faculty and visiting instructors.

Housing support may be available for selected participants. Travel awards are competitive and announced after the review period.

Requirements

  • Final-year undergraduate or graduate student in a quantitative field
  • Letter of support from a home-institution supervisor or lecturer
  • CV (2 pages max)
  • Short statement of interest (200–400 words)
  • Transcript or statement of academic standing
