Requirements

Admission Requirements

  • A strong undergraduate degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Evidence of programming experience (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or Julia preferred).
  • Statement of purpose outlining research interests in scientific computing or industrial modelling.
  • Two academic references familiar with your mathematical and computational preparation.

Program Expectations

  • Core coursework in numerical methods, HPC, and applied modelling.
  • Participation in laboratory seminars and industry-linked project studios.
  • Thesis or capstone research supervised by NIMS faculty.
