About NIMS
The National Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Ghana (NIMS) is a collaborative institute created by Ghana’s Committee of Vice-Chancellors. Hosted at KNUST in Kumasi, NIMS strengthens postgraduate training, research, and industry-facing mathematics across member universities.
Our mandate
NIMS exists to deepen collaboration in the mathematical sciences among mathematics departments in public and private universities in Ghana — and to connect that community with industry, government, and international partners.
