Academic Biography

My name is Tayyiba Amartey, and I am a Biochemistry graduate from KNUST, Ghana. I am currently pursuing an MPhil in Biomedical Data Science at NIMS-KNUST. My academic interests lie in biochemistry, bioinformatics, and  biomedical data science, among others, and their applications in improving health outcomes. I am passionate about leveraging data-driven approaches and emerging technologies to address healthcare challenges and contribute to scientific research that has a meaningful impact on society. Beyond academics, I enjoy reading stories and engaging in Islamic studies, which provide me with both intellectual enrichment and personal fulfillment.
